Today was the day of the big Pierce Downer Halloween celebration. The weather was awful so the parade was moved indoors. Pierce Downer is a wonderful school but the gym is nothing to write home about. The gym is small and cramped once you try to fit the parents of 300 children in there & provide walking space for a 'parade'. It was fun to watch but I didn't get in a good spot for photos. She did see me as she went by and seemed to really be enjoying herself.

Her classroom party was after the parade and the moms who organized it did a fabulous job. They made themselves into mummies, played ghost bowling and did a craft. Of course no halloween party is complete without some tasty cupcakes with halloween sprinkles.

William joined us for the last half hour of the party. He was thrilled to be there and was a great helper cleaning up the toilet paper (from the mummy project) and passing out treat bags. He missed the parade (we conveniently didn't tell him about it because he was at school) but was happy to get a little piece of the action at the end (and a cupcake!).
