How cool is it that you can call in to get your narrations of the historical sites? We found this to be the case in the museums as well - you could call a local number, punch in the number and get a narration of a Rodin sculpture or a particular Degas.
We are having lots of fun here. The city is beautiful and so clean. It is very green too; the buses are hybrid and the trash cans are all solar powered composters! How cool is that?
Today was 75 and sunny, unlike Chicago. We ate dinner outside tonight and listened to a street performer playing guitar. Today we visited Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. Amazing!

Isaiah Zagar created his mosaic art all over the city of Philadelphia but there is one famous site, his Magic Gardens that are not to be missed. Jim and I were fortunate to learn about Zagar before we even went to Philly through a biography of him on cable. You can't even get a true sense of how massive it is with my photos. Every square inch is covered in mosaics. Intricate designs beget larger pictures and designs - you could stare at if forever. He has incorporated slogans, famous quotes and other pieces of pop culture within his mosaics.
