Pumpkin Farm

Today was the annual trip to the pumpkin farm with Immanuel Lutheran Preschool and it was a gorgeous day. William was thrilled to ride the bus with his new BFF Jack. Our first activity was the hayride. William is seen here before we got started. It was very eventful since the wheel fell off the wagon while we were on our ride! We all had to get off early but I can tell you it was a thrill for the boys as they inspected the flat tire in the back and the rim on the front wheel. How cool!

I got to skip the train ride this year since he went on with his lady friends. They all fit in the front row on the 'Pumpkin Express'. Here is William after the ride.

They have all sorts of animals at the pumpkin farm and William really enjoyed feeding the goats and holding the chicks. I was the only mom in our little group who would hold the chicks so I would get them out and let the kids hold them. You can see from his smile he really loved the chicks. He was so good at holding them gently.
When you leave the pumpkin farm they hand out little pumpkins to the children. Will and Jack insisted on taking their pumpkins on the bus. I could only imagine dozens of pumkins rolling around!

What a super day!
