Halloween!!

Today is Halloween but that doesn't mean the celebrating only started this morning.  Tuesday was our playgroup date and we had a Halloween celebration with the Reilly's, Novak's and Gowen's.  Here is a picture of everyone on Tuesday.  Anne made Halloween cookies and told everyone a Halloween story (what a great former teacher!).

Friday night Erin went to a party at Molly's house.  Her parents invited all the kids over after school to enjoy treats, games, a haunted house in their garage and not-so-scary stories by the fire.  The girls had a blast at the "Doherty Dungeon".  This is a picture of many of the girls with Erin holding Freckles the class mascot from Mrs. Sanders class.  Freckles is supposed to hang with us all weekend and Erin is going to write a diary about his adventures.

Then on Saturday we carved our pumpkins.  This was the first year that Erin designed AND carved her own!  Of course the gutting of the pumpkins is still left to yours truly.  William designed his pumpkin but I cut it out for him.  Here they are with their creations.
