Today was another soccer game. Jim and I are impressed with how the girls are improving. Last year in Kindergarten it was like watching lemmings on a field and this year we can actually see them play their positions and pass the ball. Obviously we owe much of that to good coaching (kudos to Coach Irvin). Today Erin did some time in the goal. She did a great job even though the other team scored on her. Once she got down and faced off with the ball and deflected it but her mother (me) started yelling so much (in excitement) she was distracted and let another attempt on the goal succeed. Poor girl - I told her after I took full blame. And I learned my lesson about keeping my trap shut!
