Smarty Pants

Erin vacillates between being confident in her abilities and worrying that she will do something "wrong".  I know many kids can get this way sometimes but with Erin I was concerned about her first spelling test.  We practiced many times, although the words on the test were "super easy" according to her.  I still was nervous for her since she has never had a test before, at least of this nature.  Fortunately her fabulous teacher had the class to a pre-test on Thursday before the real test on Friday.  She got all the words correct, including the bonus words which were a surprise.  I was so happy to see her confidence and pride in herself for a job well done.
