Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving was a lovely holiday this year, celebrated with the Stanley's and Berry's in Evergreen Park. The kids had a wonderful time & we could barely get them to leave. They were showered with early Christmas gifts since we won't be with them on Christmas Eve this year. The spread was to die for, as usual. Janice and Roger were spectacular hosts, offering everything from shrimp cocktail to perfectly cooked turkey to pumpkin coffee & cinnamon ice cream (Will's new favorite!) for dessert. Jim and I are still recovering today (although that didn't stop Jim from having Jan's leftovers for lunch!). It was a beautiful day and Jim and I have so much for which to be thankful. We are so blessed! Much love to all of our family and friends who were not with us today, you were all in our thoughts and prayers.
