Tales from the Basement

Let me set the scene. I am drinking coffee at the kitchen table while Erin and William are playing in the basement this morning. And I overhear....

"I want to be the teacher." says William.
"But why are you wearing a diaper?" replies Erin.
William responds, matter-of-factly, "Because I am a boy." As if all boy teachers still wear diapers.

A few moments later...
"I can't play teacher with a boy who wears a diaper." Erin states.
William answers, "Ok, let's play cars."
