Phase 2: The Cabinetry

Today was the long awaited day!  We were thrilled to receive all of our new cabinets today.  I can't believe how much there is filling our house.  Two kitchens worth of cabinetry.  Tomorrow the trim carpenter comes to remove the old cabinetry (which we will be repurposing in other areas of the house) and begin the installation of the new.

Here is the truck in the driveway!! So exciting.  I am guessing the guys thought I was a little 'off' for taking pictures!

A truck full of presents.  I guess this is my vision of Santa's sleigh.

Tonight the cabinets are stuffed into the kitchen and spilling down the hallway.  I have no idea how the carpenter is going to work in such a tight spot!  There is barely enough room to squeeze into the living room.  The kitchen table is pressed up against the island and there is not much space behind the chairs.  I was so worried tonight that the kids were going to ding the cabinets by pushing their chairs out!  Maybe we'll have breakfast upstairs tomorrow.
