Legoland!

Yesterday we braved the crowds at Legoland.  It hadn't occurred to us until we were in line to get into the parking lot that perhaps it would be busy because the last three days had been rainy.  We have all been to Legoland before and have NEVER experienced such overwhelming crowds.  Almost every ride was an hour wait (or more for the coasters).  We just decided to not let it bother us too much and sent various adults out to different rides to hold spaces so we could get the kids on faster.  It worked out pretty well.  The kids had a blast and that was the purpose of the day.  The weather was beautiful so that was a huge bonus!

I love the kids faces in the picture below.  This was their favorite ride when we were at Legoland two years ago.

The car ride was much more of a hit with William this time around.  He was able to negotiate the track without a problem.  He'll be ready for the bigger track next time!

I told everyone we were going to southern California but we are really in NYC - don't mind the palm trees in the background.

Here is William with one of this former favorite cartoon characters.  He was still happy to pose with his giant Lego sized friend.
