Christmas amidst the construction

We have no room for decorations this year.  And even if we did, they'd be covered in dust.  I couldn't bear to skip the holiday altogether so we bought a tree to put on the deck.  William and I decorated it with dollar store ornaments and it looks fabulous.  We pulled our light up snowman out of the attic to create a holiday scene and wah-lah! Christmas!

Kath brought John this year to join in the annual Gingerbread Making Event!  It went so much more smoothly this year since the house was already constructed.
