Insulated and ready for drywall

I must admit to being a little taxed by juggling daily life amidst construction.  As a result, keeping up with the blog has not been on the front burner.  They came on Monday to insulate all of the new walls as well as some of the 'old' walls.  For instance, William's bedroom wall is now next to the laundry room and the shower in the new bath so we had them blow insulation into the entire wall to cut down on the noise.  The insulation is all pink and has pictures of the Pink Panther everywhere - the kids didn't know who he was!  Made me chuckle.

Drywall instillation begins tomorrow.  Jim is frantically trying to finish the basement (I can hear the sounds of the screwdriver through the holes in the floor) and I am frantically trying to put everything away!  Laundry is running and anything I might not want to have covered with dust I am putting in the kids rooms or in the 'sealed' living room & office.  Our room is getting drywall to close it off from the new guest room so I am trying to get everything picked up and put away.  I am hoping to still sleep here the next few days but plan to be gone for the bulk of the day.  Friday after school we are going to a water park by Starved Rock to  have a mini family vacation.

Here are the pics Dad!

View coming up the stairs, laundry room on left and bedroom hall on right.

This is inside the laundry room.  The w/d will be stacked on the left and then there will be a counter with a sink on the right.  The counter will wrap around in an 'L' shape.

This view is taken from the back of the house looking in.  On your extreme left is the insulation in the wall that used to be open to our bedroom.  Straight ahead to the left is the hallway leading into the room.  In the middle is the closet and to the right the door frame leads to the bathroom.
