Imagination

I do so love to watch the kids in action - where there is very little adult interaction.  I had two big rolls of raffle tickets I used for a fundraiser and the kids wanted to play with them.  It started as them unrolling the rolls (with the help of their grandma) all over the house.  How far would it go before they tore off?

Once the adults were out of the picture they set up a raffle stand.  Erin made the sign - the new power of being able to spell - and they both collected items to raffle.  Then they made boxes to put the raffle tickets, pretty much copying what they had seen me do earlier in the day.  As you can see, they have their piggy bank out on the off chance that we will pay for the raffle tickets.  With Erin's help, they both wrote up raffle tickets for Terry, Nicole, Deb, Bill, Dad, Mom, Peter and other family members.  Then they pulled the tickets and were genuinely excited when someone won an old bell or a used book.  It was awesome.
