Today was a special day at Pierce Downer Elementary. Each class asked someone from the community to come in and read a story to their class. The parents were invited as well and snacks were provided afterwards. Erin wanted to ask our postman, Mr. Q, to be the guest reader in her room. Q delivers the mail to the homes of many of the kids in her class as well as to the school. He was very flattered to be asked and came in to read today.
William loves Mr. Q and he has been asking since the start of school if he could come into his sister's classroom - so the combination was almost too much for him. He was perfect and shared a chair with his sister and sat quietly on the floor listening to the story. After the story was over he stood up and said loudly "Thank you Mr. Q!". It was very cute.
