Everyone seems to be so happy to see us. We usually sing one song while we are waiting for them to answer the door and then we'll take suggestions. This year many of Suzanne's friends, who are in the Apollo Chorus, didn't come (lots of bugs going around) so the singing wasn't quite as good (and no harmonizing!). We still had a blast and the neighbors were appreciative. One family had just moved from France! Ed showed off with his three amazing chili recipes...he made me a convert. I couldn't get enough of his hot and spicy version with chorizo. Amazing!
This is a picture at the end of the night - the kids were ready for bed and the trip home. We missed Kitty & Pete and the Twardock family this year! We look forward to this tradition every year & now the kids want to carol in our neighborhood!
