We picked our soapstone today!

The whole family trekked up to the granite & marble place to pice out our two slabs of soapstone today. We are getting Barroca soapstone which is a medium hard stone with a grey blue tone and lovely cream veins. It isn't very busy at all. We wiped it down with wet rags when we were there to see the true color but in this picture it dried off and looks lighter. We will oil it after it is installed and it will have a rich patina.
