This kitchen is very close to what our finished product will look like. We have ordered the same tile and have a dark gray kitchen countertop.
Lights:
This one comes in a satin nickel finish as well.
This one is probably my least favorite of the group.
The rest are variations on a theme. I am leaning toward doing a satin nickel finish, so if the picture is polished, that wouldn't be what I would get. I have toyed with getting oil rubbed bronze (last finish shown) just because it might add some color/warmth to the kitchen. We also have dark counters so it would coordinate with those.

Everything is so gorgeous—love the look you're creating! I hardly think you can go wrong with the fixtures you're considering, but my fave is the first light, the one with clear glass and a linked chain. I will tell you, though, the other fixtures would likely be easier to keep dust-free. Also, do you know what's up once they stop manufacturing incandescent bulbs? Will they make new bulbs in that "flame" shape (sure hope so...)?
I like the lights in the third pic down. The one you said looked much like yours. It is a dark hanging rod but glass bulb covers. The all dark lights are too eye catching and I don't think that is where you want the eye to be drawn initially. The cabinets and countertop are the ones to focus on as you enter the room.
I'm a big oil-rubbed bronze fan, but the satin nickel looks gorgeous! Tough decision, can't wait to see what you end up picking.
Hey-
I love the kitchen and chalkboard is fantastic! I can't wait to leave you special notes on it. Also, the Aurelios box top was very funny. Ok, on to the lighting-I like the the silver polished ones. Also, the less geometric looking the better-it reminds me of the 80's. Although, that was you hey day. :) Not sure if this helped. Wanna come over and write this paper for me?
