Legos
As with all children and households, toys come in and out of fashion. This week we have entered a new Lego phase. With the cooler weather we have been inside a bit more and so they have had time to cultivate a new love and appreciation for Legos. I can't say exactly how many hours have been clocked next to the big bin of Legos this week. Last night Erin and Jim went to the Circus so Will and I had time to play Legos for an hour and a half before he went to bed. And despite playing for that long, I had to drag him away to go to bed. He insisted on taking some Lego's to bed with him! In fact I am sitting on the floor of Erin's room doing my blog while the two of them....you guessed it, play Lego's. They both insist we need more 'flat pieces'. Those are the ones he is working with here, where they are only a half a Lego high. Maybe we'll have to take a trip to Target if this phase continues. In the meantime they are having a ball and I am having a blast watching William's creativity through his buildings.
