William's 3rd Birthday

William's third birthday was a huge hit! The day before his birthday he went to school at the YMCA and was able to hand out treats to all of the children in his class. His teachers made him a darling birthday crown which he wore on his birthday Saturday. Saturday morning we woke up to presents & a trip to Egg Harbor Cafe. His favorite gift was a blue scooter (so he can keep up with his sister and her friends this summer). He does a fairly nice job on it for a 3 year old!
After a wonderful breakfast at Egg Harbor, William's birthday activity request was bowling at the Tivoli. The Tivoli bowling alley probably pre-dates Jim! :) They have updated it (a bit) but it is still a wonderful old bowling alley. The kids love going there on the weekends with Jim so this was my first time (as well as Grammy and Pa). The Tivoli even has a little metal stand that William can put his ball on and just push it down. It is like a ramp which allows him to really bowl on his own.

William is "cooling off" after working up a sweat bowling. This just cracked me up!!

Here is the birthday boy getting ready for dinner with his Uncle Scott, Grandparents and family. He is wearing the hat they made for him at school. He selected an ice cream cake for dessert (the fourth cake request this month) and it was amazing (Coldstone)!

The final picture is of the best gift they received - an air hockey table from their grandparents. They played air hockey while they were in Georgia visiting my grandma and they became hooked. I don't think they could even believe it when they opened the box that night! This picture is a little dark but Erin's face is priceless. We have been having tournaments ever since.
